Texture Ballet School - 2024 Spring Performance

Featuring the classic ballet Cinderella with choreography by Alan Obuzor, Swan Lake Pas de Trois, Islands by Kelsey Bartman, and several new and exciting contemporary and tap works!

Act 1 - Cinderella

Cinderella tells the story of Ella, a young girl who is known as Cinderella because she sits by the fireplace with the ashes after completing all of her housework. Cinderella is kind to all people and animals. She has enormous faith and believes that, in time, good things happen to good people.

Join us as we tell the story of what happens with Cinderella’s evil stepmother and stepsisters, her fairy godmother, the menacing keepers of time, a fairytale prince, a masquerade ball, and a magical evening that will change her life.

Act 2 - Classical, contemporary and tap works

Swan Lake is one of the most well known and famous ballets of all time. We will be presenting the Pas de Trois from Swan Lake. With stunning choreography and music by Tchaikovsky, this selection is beautiful and exhilarating.

Also included in this second part of the program is a classical piece, La Source, as well as a variety of different contemporary and tap works by Alan Obuzor and Kelsey Bartman. Enjoy an exciting trio for three men, move and groove with our contemporary works, and find out what happens when you mix tap dance, Bach, and Hamilton!
